Manchester (Global Times Pakistan): Shadow Deputy Leader of the House of Commons of England and Former Shadow Minister for Immigration Afzal Khan said that PTI Government cannot bring Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif back from England to Pakistan without Nawaz Sharif’s consent.
In an interview to Global Times Pakistan, Former Lord Mayor of Manchester said that he had been Shadow Minister of Immigration for three years and as per his understanding Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s government would not be able to bring Nawaz Sharif back to Pakistan because of the Immigration Laws of United Kingdom.
Labour MP Afzal Khan said that Nawaz Sharif came to United Kingdom on Medical Grounds from Pakistan and normally he should be sent back when the reason is over but Nawaz Sharif can avail the legal options here in United Kingdom which will help him.
In an answer to a question, Mr. Khan said that there is no treaty between the Government of United Kingdom and Government of Pakistan which can help PTI Government to bring Nawaz Sharif back.
He also said that if the Government of Pakistan is very much determined to bring Nawaz Sharif back, then the process will be very long!
