Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz and Pakistan Peoples Party reached agreement over alliance for the upcoming local elections in Azad Kashmir.
From the PML-N’s camp, formers ministers Barrister Iftikhar Gillani and Docter Mustafa Bashir participated while Javed Ayub and Bazil Naqvi were present from the PPP’s side for the conclusion of agreement. The agreement was reached over the possible chairman, deputy chairman, mayor, deputy mayor and labor councillor.
As per the agreement, Chairman district council will be from the PPP, while PML-N will appoint its vice-chairman. Also, the mayor for the municipal corporation and labour councillor will be from the PML-N while PPP will give the name of deputy mayor.
