Pilots remain safe as PAF aircraft crash-lands in Mardan

A Pakistan Air Force (PAF) trainer aircraft – super Mushshak Aircraft – crash-landed in agriculture fields near Mardan in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Wednesday during a routine training mission.

A spokesperson said the two pilots in the plane remained safe while adding that the the incident would be investigated.

In March 2022, a trainer aircraft crashed near Peshawar resulting in the loss of life of two pilots.

This is the latest varient of the Mushshak basic trainer and is used by the army to give training to the would-be pilots.

Its maximum speed is 268 Kilometres per hour while range is 814Km.
