The US dollar on Monday continued flight in the interbank and open market against the rupee.
On the first morning of the new business week, the greenback climbed by Rs1.43 and traded at 287.25 in interbank.
The dollar closed at Rs285.82 at the end of the business day on Friday.
Meanwhile, the dollar gained Rs5 in the open market and traded at Rs306.
