The joint investigation team (JIT) set up to investigate the Jinnah House attack case on Tuesday again summoned the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman.
According to police sources, the PTI chairman has been directed to appear before the JIT on Aug 4. He has been summoned in all the case in which he was named, they added.
The PTI chairman has been summoned in the cases, including a case registered in the Sarwar Road police station.
They said it was fourth time that the JIT summoned the PTI chairman. He had appeared before the JIT only once, sources stated.
It may be recalled that a complaint had been registered by the Qila Gujjar Singh police against the PTI chief for threatening the JIT members.
