In the wake of the arrest of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) caretaker government appealed to the citizens on Saturday to maintain peace.
In a statement, the KP caretaker information minister asked the public not to violate the law in any way. He clarified that strict action will be taken if any citizen violates the law or damages the public properties.
“The legal battles should be fought in the courts, not on the streets,” he added.
He further said that peaceful protest is everyone’s right. “However, no one will be allowed to flout the law,” he maintained.
