Mohammad Rizwan, who helped Pakistan score victory against Sri Lanka with a scintillating knock of 131, dedicates his performance to the Palestinians in Gaza.

Pakistan trounced Sri Lanka by six wickets by chasing a record target of 345 in 48.2 overs in India’s Hyderabad. Rizwan scored 131 not out and together with Abdullah Shafique (who scored 113) paved the way for mammoth chase.

“This was for our brothers and sisters in Gaza. Happy to contribute in the win,” Rizwan wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

Rizwan also thanked the Indian fans in these words: “Extremely grateful to the people of Hyderabad for the amazing hospitality and support throughout.”
