No one was in the Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Friday to represent the PTI chief on his petition for early hearing on his application for security in prison.

The wife of the PTI chairman, Bushra Bibi, moved the IHC for early hearing on her application which was fixed by the Registrar Office for October 25.

When Chief Justice Amir Farooq took up her plea, there was no counsel in the court to plead the case. The chief justice observed that it was a rule of the Registrar Office that the case would be heard on the date fixed by it.

Advocate Latif Khosa was the counsel for Bushra Bibi.

On the last hearing on October 5, the court issued notices to the parties and ordered to fix next hearing in two weeks.

Bushra Bibi filed application for early hearing on her petition as her husband, who is a former prime minister, has not been provided appropriate security in the prison.

At present, the PTI chief is languishing in Adiala Jail.
