Pakistan People’s Party Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari has claimed that he asked the Pakistan Muslim League-N (PMLN) supremo, Nawaz Sharif to come back to Pakistan.

Talking to a women delegation led by the PPP Sindh chapter President Shagufta Jammani, he said women would play an important role in the next general elections. The party workers should be ready for the elections rather to be worried as I am here, he said adding politics is the right of the former premier Nawaz Sharif.

The former President claimed that he was the first who had asked Nawaz Sharif to come back to his homeland.

He said he has built a house in Multan and I would personally meet friends and workers of the South Punjab. I am also meeting the workers in Nawabshah, he said adding workers were insisting that they want to meet me directly.
