The interim government is set to increase petroleum prices ahead of the formation of new government in the country. 

The prices will be increased for 15 days of the current month. 

The diesel prices will be increased by Rs7.50 per litre and the petrol prices by Rs1.86.

Sources said the prices of kerosene might be increased by 1.7 paisa per litre.
